Gustav Klimt Signed Zlatá Adele Offset Lithograph 1907, in print signature to lower right reads ‘Gustav Klimt.’, verso reads AB Custom Framing, subject a portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer commissioned by the sitter's husband, Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer, a Jewish banker and sugar producer, measures 33 1/4 x 33 1/4 inches, window measures 27 x 26 5/8 inches, ornate gilt wooden frame, surface wear to frame, professionally framed and double matted in dark teal, not examined out of frame.Gustav Klimt (July 14, 1862 – February 6, 1918) was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is noted for his paintings, murals, sketches, and other Objects d'art. Klimt's primary subject was the female body, and his works are marked by a frank eroticism. Amongst his figurative works, which include allegories and portraits, he painted landscapes. Among the artists of the Vienna Secession, Klimt was the most influenced by Japanese art and its methods.
