Colored glaze painted snuff bottle
Item Details
Description
Colored glaze painted snuff bottleA snuff bottle refers to a container for snuff, which can be held in a small hand and is easy to carry. When snuff was introduced into China in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the snuff box gradually became orientalized, resulting in a snuff bottle. People's habit of using snuff has almost disappeared, but the snuff bottle has been handed down as a kind of exquisite work of art, known as a "miniature work of art that integrates many kinds of crafts." (It is one of the important symbols of Qing Dynasty art.)
