Included are a 24" bisque socket head child doll, incised on back of head "Simon & Halbig Dep 1079 Germany 11 1/2". She has blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with four upper teeth, and is on the original fully-jointed German wood and composition body with mostly original finish, but some wear, especially at joints. Also included are a 16" character baby, incised on back of head "K & R (with Star of David) Simon & Halbig 122 36". This baby has deep dimples, a separate tongue, two upper teeth, brown glass sleep eyes and is on the original five-piece bent limb baby body with mostly original finish, but some crazing and two fingertips chipped. This baby does have a hairline on the forehead and a chip near the rim. The pate on the child doll is firmly fixed and cannot be removed, so although it has been examined as well as possible, we have not been able to take off the wig entirely, but there has been no damage found upon inspection.
