Description
Egypt, Romano-Egyptian, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. A lovely pottery relief of a standing female concubine depicted nude, save for a tripartite headdress, a necklace, and bangles on each wrist. Boasting an hourglass physique, the alluring temptress gazes forward from huge, ovoid eyes on a heart-shaped visage flanked by a pair of large, pointed ears. Size: 2.1" W x 3.1" H (5.3 cm x 7.9 cm); 4.5" H (11.4 cm) on included custom stand.
