China, 19th-20th century. The vase of octagonal form with a pear-shaped body rising to a concave neck with a trumpet-shaped mouth, painted with dragons amid clouds on a variegating bluish-turquoise glaze ground. Apocryphal Ming dynasty four-character mark to base.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear and firing flaws.
Provenance: Old Austrian private collection.
