Item Details

Description

Chinese period lacquer hat or wig stand, octagonal form with lozenge shaped cutouts and gilt bat and cloud decoration to body, fret decoration to upper and lower rims. 17 5/8" H. Probably Qing Period, late 19th century.

Condition

Very good condition with some fine crazing particularly to interior, minor wear and some discoloration to gilding, a few small chips to corners and base, 1/2" chip to top edge.
