TWO CARL BARKS SIGNED PRELIMINARY PENCIL SKETCHES - (Walt Disney Studios, 1970s) Two original pencil sketches by Carl Barks. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on 10 ½ in. x 11 ½ in. paper. Barks began his career at Disney in 1935 as an “in-betweener.” He eventually became the artist behind the Donald Duck series of comic books and is credited with creating Scrooge McDuck.
