Description
Exceptional museum quality antique 18th century credenza cabinet chest of drawers. Mother of pearl and brass inlaid ebonized walnut commode. Produced in Lombardy or Venice, circa 1720. Paneled concave front with three paneled long drawers. All richly inlaid with parrots in floral garlands. The gilt bronze handles cast as busts of toga clad Roman dignitaries. Rests on gilt bronze lion form feet. No apparent makers mark. Purchased from Peter Marino International for $500,000. Investment Worthy.
