Last half of the 19th century. The group includes a fine pair of ladles, a set of four spoons and one fork along with three miscellaneous small ladles. All examples have fine quality form and handsome details. The pair of ladles is marked with right facing lion and anchor with G the set of five spoons with fork marked H & S Coin with retailer mark of A.C. Worthley and mark of Coin. The sugar shell is marked with Crown S and eagle for Charles Shaver of New York. a small ladle with an art nouveau handle marked with monogram UB and sterling 925 the mustard ladle marked Baird North Co and the larger ladle with basket style head and leaf handle is marked simply Sterling at underside of head. Longest: L10" 450 grams standard Sold from the collection of a San Francisco /Upcountry, South Carolina couple.
