A bronze zoomorphic brooch in the form of a bird, eyes formed as a circular piercing through the head, heart-shaped body with remains of enamelled rectangular panels to the wings, fan-shaped tail decorated with triangular enamelled panels; pin, lug and catchplate to reverse. 7 grams, 37mm (1 1/2"). German art market before 2000. With a European gentleman living in the UK. Property of a Surrey gentleman. [No Reserve]
