Two wooden sutra covers, rectangular in overall form, with a rounded bottom edge and ornamental finials, one with a scalloped silhouette and partially gilded scene of a robed man standing in a landscape before a building; one with a smaller, trilobate finial also decorated with a part-gilt floral motif; both painted red to the reverse. 485 grams total, 57.5cm long each (22 3/4").
