Chinese Qing Dynasty YongZheng Yellow Glazed Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Warm and uniform yellow glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Sgrafitto with imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double blue rings lines. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
