Maria is a very recognisable artist with a distinctive style. Her work is about an imaginary world in a parallel dimension with UFOs, little television people and messages.. She was born in Florence, Italy and decided to move to London in 2001. It is here in this city that Maria discovered her love for painting. In 2007 she became a professional artist. Her painting are held in many private collections all around the world.

This artwork is an original acrylic and fluorescent colours on printed plywood. It is part of Maria's latest collection. South East Londoner maker Ian Clark hand tranfers Maria's images onto a piece of plywood, a very unique technique that makes each piece individual . She adds then a lot of extra details, lights, UFOS and futuristic helicopters. They have that special distressed look, very cool and unique, from another time.. They are also very light.
