Extraordinary Art Deco Era Platinum Diamond Sapphire Ladies Pendant Watch w/ 14k Chain
Description: This extraordinary Art Deco era platinum pendant watch perfectly exemplifies the periods design, entirely encrusted with over 1ctw of fine, white G-H color, VS clarity diamonds PLUS some calibre cut sapphires for added visual impact. Has original dial with stylized numerals & blue steel hands, but does have a chip on the crystal. Mechanical movement runs, but has not been timed for accuracy. As with all antique / vintage watches for accurate timekeeping we recommend an overall at buyers expense.
Weight or Size of Gemstones: Two 2.8mm round full cut & seventy 1.3-1.7mm round single cut diamonds + twenty eight 1 X1mm square caliber cut sapphires totaling approx. 1.50ctw in all.
Approx. Dimensions or Size of Item: Case measures 19mm (L) X 14.5mm (W) X 10mm (thick). Entire pendant is 2-1/8 inches (w/ bail) X 9/6 inch. Chain is 18 inches long (removable).
Metal: Tested as platinum (watch) &w/ 14k white gold (chain)
Hallmarks: Case; not marked, Chain, 14k, 14kt, BB-hallmark
Weight of Item: 16.4 grams
Circa: 1930s

Condition
Seen only with 10x magnification the sapphires have some light surface abrasions on the facet junctions, all stones are intact & look fine. Platinum shows some light surface wear. Everything is intact on the dial & shows well. The acrylic crystal has a noticeable chip by the #9 & #10 (see pics). Watch wound & set properly. Mechanical movement is currently running but has not been timed for accuracy.
