(Unknown, 1970s) An infamous souvenir pocket knife featuring Mickey Mouse. These knives appeared in the collector's market around the 1970s and are marked as if they were sold at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. However, the Mickey Mouse image on the knife is a more modern version that would not have been used in 1933, and perhaps the most telling detail is that World's Fair is misspelled as "World Fair." Despite the unusual history of these knives, they are actually quite desirable among collectors and have earned a unique place in Disneyana history. Measuring 3.5" long when closed, the knife is in good condition with minor tarnishing to the blade.
