Janet Folsom (American, 1905-1989). An original Op Art painting utilizing multi media. Executed by cutting painted canvas into strips to achieve an optical effect. The artist was well known in Palm Beach, and studied at the Boston Museum School under Alexander Laccoleff. Her works can be found in the collections of Dartmouth University, Boston University, and the Miami Museum of Modern Art. Artist signed to lower right of second later of work, FOLSOM. Presented in a decorative wood frame.

Dimensions: 30.75 X 46.75 X 1.5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition with average surface wear. Frame having storage wear. Estate fresh to the market.
