Whiteside & Blank Art Nouveau 18kt Gold, Plique-a-jour Enamel, Enamel, and Diamond Brooch, c. 1905-1910, designed as a woman with butterfly wings, set with old European-cut diamonds, 1 5/8 x 1 3/8 in., maker's mark.

Note: A similar example is pictured on the cover of The Glitter & The Gold: Fashioning America's Jewelry and is in the collection of The Newark Museum.

Condition: Two spots of enamel loss to wings. Maker's mark, 18K.
