Description:

English Faux Leopard Upholstered Rocking Chaise, Second Half 19th Century, with overupholstered linen velvet faux leopard print seat on snake-form bronze rockers. Provenance: according to the consignor it was from the John Hay Whitney estate on Long Island, purchased c. 1999.
