Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Fanghu vases, each having a wide band of lotus scrollwork on a turquoise ground at the neck, flanked by iron red scroll handles, each body decorated with a white bird perched amidst peony, chrysanthemums, and rockwork, both terminating to a lappet band and marked 'China' to the underside. Approx: h. 11.5", w. 5.75".

Examined under blacklight. one handle having (1) 1/4" chip at the tip, and (2) 1/2" chips to the side. The other having (2) 1/4" chips to rim and (1) 1/2" chip to rim.
