JULES MOIGNIEZ (FRENCH, 1835-1894), AN EQUESTRIAN BRONZE 'LE PERSAN ETALON' LATE 19TH CENTURY Depicting the Persian stallion on naturalistic base, looking right, signed to the cast 'J MOIGNIEZ' and titled30cm high, the base 39cm wide, 14cm deep
Condition
There are some mild marks, scratches, knocks, and wear to patinated surface consistent with age and use. Base now has later cork fitment which is loose, faint ink inscription to undersidePlease refer to additional images for visual references to condition which forms part of this condition report.All lots are available for inspection and Condition Reports are available on request. However, all lots are of an age and type which means that they may not be in perfect condition and should be viewed by prospective bidders; please refer to Condition 6 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers.
