AN ENAMEL ON COPPER 'WANG MU' BOWL
China, Republic period (1912-1949). The deep sided bowl rising from a ring foot. Finely enameled on a pale yellow ground with seven of the eight horses of King Mu. The interior of a pale green color and at the center with the eighth horse, the rims copper, the underside inscribed China.
Condition: Very good condition with some wear to the enamels, mostly at the interior.
Provenance: British private collection.
