Vintage hand painted porcelain plate, butterflies and flowers, by Charles Amison & Co Ltd, England, 1950s.

The dish is 5.3/4" [14.7cm], no chips, no hairlines, fine condition.

This green mark "Stanley, Fine Bone China, England, Est.1875 below the crown" on this plate was in use 1953-1962. Charles Amison was established in 1889 - the Est.1875 date comes from the earlier company of Amison & Lawson and. There is an additional hand painted iron-oxide red initial 'J' and golden drop.

Charles Amison & Co Ltd produced bone china and porcelains from 1889 until they ceased trading in 1962.
