RARE NEWPORT CHIPPENDALE TEA TABLE
Newport, Rhode Island, Late 18th/Early 19th Century
In select mahogany. One-piece top with molded edge. Serpentine skirt. Cabriole legs with foliate-carved knees and claw & ball feet with open talons.
Height 26.75”. Width 33.75”. Depth 20”.

Condition
As found: Break of wood missing from the top of one leg. Splits to top. Tiny chip to molded edge. Primarily untouched. Date further adjusted from Early 19th Century to Late 18th/Early 19th Century.
