Description
A George Nakashima turned leg black walnut boat shaped dining table with three rosewood inlaid butterflies and two dark walnut leaves. Table rests atop four turned legs and simple stretcher. Signed on underside 'George Nakashima, New Hope, Jan 1963'. Table with leaves: 104" wide. From the estate of Dr Manuel and Rosyln Pearson of Bala-Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, it was purchased directly from George Nakashima in the early 1960's.
