vii, [3], 253 pp. Color frontispiece and 6 other color plates by Charles S. Chapman and Frank Street. (Large 8vo) original gilt-bordered and lettered black cloth, pictorial cover onlay, jacket with color plate on front panel. First Edition.

Zane Grey's own copy, with his personal library blindstamp on the front free endpaper. Laid in is a photograph of Grey, signed "Zane Grey" in the margin in Grey's usual purple pen. The volume comprises a collection of Grey's most memorable tales of the Old West. With Harper's code "I-X" on the copyright page.

Condition

Touch of toning to jacket, a few small stains, small closed tear to front panel, light edgewear; volume lightly rubbed at extremities, very good.
