The print on canvas is in a good, unused condition with no known damage, Vinella was born in Bari, Italy, and came to the United States in 1935 when he was 2 years old. He was raised in New York's Lower East Side. He joined the Air Force at the age of 17 during the midst of the Korean War. Vinella attended school at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles where he majored in illustration. He later worked as an illustrator in Pittsburgh, and for Lockheed and Disney Productions in California.
