Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Yellow glaze carved porcelain Brush pot. Potted in thick, cylindrical body, straight body, close rectangle lip, raised with round flat foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow color, depicted of chief in horseback riding hunting on the forest surrounded dense tree, lishui rivers, rock and vapors. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
