Rare Palace Bank with "GUSKY'S" Advertisement - By Ives, Blakeslee - Bridgeport, Ct. - 1890's

These Ives, Blakeslee & Co still banks are hard to come by. This bank in the form of a Palace is all original and measures 5" x 8" x 5".

Made by Ives, Blakeslee circa 1880's. Made of Cast Iron. Restored Condition.

All original condition. Missing trap. Condition (Excellent). Size 8'' L.

Ives cast iron palace still bank, 7 3/4'' h.

Embossed "Tower Bank" on all four sides of base. Embossed eagle figures. Japanned throughout. Some wear, especially to base. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 3 - 3/4" x 3 - 3/4" x 9 - 1/2".

Kenton, c. 1900, familiar cast iron still bank, japanned overall with gold and bronze highlights. 6" h.

Dark Brown Japanned Finish. Made by John Harper Ltd. Great Britain - Circa 1910's.

japanned cast iron, 4 1/8 in tall, gold trim, State Bank & Deposit, no breaks or repairs, C7.

One is a Graf zeppelin in silver paint, the other is a japanned and painted paddle wheel boat with spinning wheels. Both have some wear. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Larger: 8" x 1

Identical banks in small and medium sizes. Japanned and with some moderate wear. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 2 - 1/4" x 1 - 3/4" x 8".

Cast Iron Cupola Still Bank by J&E Stevens. Circa 1872. Japanned finish. 4-1/4"h. Condition: Very good.

John Harper, England, c. 1885, japanned, cast iron figural, depicts gentleman with long beard and even longer pipe in mouth, top hat debossed "Transvaal Money Box." 6 3/16" h.
