A Chinese huanghuali miniature cabinet of typical rectilinear form, the doors opening to a single shelf, the cabinet surmounted by a hat cabinet en suite, the doors chased with a diaper design, each door set with a hardstone carving of a bat and pomegranate, finger citron and formal devices, and mounted with chased gilt metal hinges and door-pulls, end panels carved in relief with archaic dragons and stylised lotus, 59cm x 38cm x 18cm, 19th century. Provenance: The property of a gentleman.
