Ca. 664 - 332 BC An Egyptian period steatite top of a cosmetic vessel made in high relief. This depicts a seated human figure holding an animal with a stylised body hair design with dots on the surface. Three human heads appear behind the seated figure. Size: 45mm x 35mm; Weight: 75g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Private collection 1970s-1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
