Suite of Japanese armor, Edo period or later, consisting of a lacquered iron helmet with shikoro (neckguard), gilt menpo mask with moustache and attached yodare-kake (throat guard), the top of the muneate (breast plate) marked with three mons, two of which are 'maru ni katabami', similar to the Sakai clan's, laced to the do (cuirass) and kusazuri (tasset) with orange lacing, haidate (cuisse), pair of suneate (greaves), pair of chain mail kote and tekko (sleeve armor with hand guard), pair of sode (shoulder armor), cuirass and tasset: approx. 28.25"h, wooden stand and armor box with leather straps, box: 18.5"l x 16"w x 28"h
