West Mexico, Protoclassic, ca. 100 B.C. - A.D. 250. A plump gal seated with hands to the side and black and red geometric decoration. The abstract stylized body with rounded boobs, slender cylindrical arms out at sides and hands to hips. Her head is completely open forming a vessel. Great red surface with strong mineral deposits and root marks. Excellent quality. Size: 15.5 inches H. Provenance: Ex.
