Description
Colima, Mexico ca. 100 BCE to 250 AD. A reddish-brown hollow pottery seated male hunchback dwarf figure with a small collared spout in the top of his head and short arms held in the forward position. Dimensions: 11" H x 9" W. Provenance: Arte Primitivo, 2009 acquired by Dr. Henry Cherrick, a professor and dean at UCLA School of dentistry who pioneered government programs promoting dental care in HIV/AIDs patients. He was an avid collector of fine art and antiquities and died at the age of 84 in 2023. Original documents included.(Approx. dims for shipping: 11 x 9 x 9 inches)

Excellent, Areas of root marks on the surface and a shallow chip in left hand, otherwise intact.
