Description
DSP. Maker marked "Tenn. Enamel Mfg. Co. Nashville." This c. 1930s double-sided porcelain sign from Coca-Cola features the iconic script logo with the porcelain attachment discs showing the famous bottle graphic. CONDITION: Side 1 shows a few small porcelain chips and surface scratches in the red field. The outer edges remain clean but show a few wear spots and discolored areas. The grey disc shows a few porcelain chips around the border and mounting holes, the worst of which is at the top center. The privilege panel along the top shows additional porcelain chips to the outer edges and mounting holes. (8.25+). Side 2 shows a few small chips and scratches in the center red field. The outer edges of the field show light wear and discoloration. The decorative porcelain strip that goes to the left and right of the privilege panel is missing on this side. The grey disc shows porcelain chips in the bottle graphic, as well as the outer edges and mounting holes. The grey decorative strip to the left and right of the disc shows a few small porcelain chips too. The privilege panel shows porcelain loss to the outer edges and mounting holes. (8.0).
