This is a Classic Early 1897 advertising tin sign from C.D. Kenny Co. Coffee and Tea in Baltimore, MD. This advertising tin features a “Tea Party” with young girls and a rabbit. This sign measures 12 ¼” x 8 ¼”. The bottom of the tin reads “Compliments of C.D. Kenny.” This piece has patina, and there are two small holes at the top that can be used to hang by string or wire. Please look over the photos to judge the condition of the piece for yourself. This piece was made by Kaufmann and Strauss, a premier 1890’s/Early 1900’s tin Litho signage maker. C.D. Kenny was an Early Coffee and Tea Dealer, who was bought by Sara Lee in the 1930’s. This would be a wonderful addition to any Advertising Collection.
