Lot 0476
A Freemason bracelet. The oval composite paste intaglio panels, press moulded to depict the Masonic square and compass, two male profiles one possibly depicting Benjamin Franklin, a female in a robe, and a scene showing the inscription 'I know that my redeemer liveth job xIx 25.' Length 18cms. Weight 45.7gms.

Condition

Overall fair condition, with easily visible light surface scratches, small nicks to the panels and minor loss of detail to the carving. Metal is possibly silver gilt. The clasp is in working order, there are small areas of wear to the plating on the clasp. The bracelet would benefit from a clean. There are some small areas of dark tarnishing to the joins. It appears that there is staining between the two glass panels causing the orange colour to the intaglios. There is water damage visible to one panel where it has come between the two panels, the two layers of glass is visible to the back of one of the panels.
