A large and fine antique Chinese export famille rose porcelain punch bowl, 18th or early 19th century. Enamel and gilt decorated with court scenes on the outside of the bowl and an unusual hotei Buddha on the inside. Approximate measurements: 5.3/4 in. high, 13.3/4 in. diam.

Two three-inch long hairlines going down vertically from the rim and a minor surface chip on the inside of the rim and several very minor 'flea-bite' size chip to the outer rim. Overall, the bowl is structurally stable and otherwise in good condition with age appropriate wear on the inside and minor enamel loss..
