Native American, Midwestern United States, Eastern Woodland Period, ca. 5000 BCE to 1000 CE; Southwestern United States, Hohokam, ca. 900 to 1350 CE; Pre-Columbian, Northern Mexico, Chihuahua region, Casas Grandes, ca. 1100 to 1450 CE. A group of 5 hand-carved stone tools from across ancient North America. First is a Casas Grandes hand blade knapped from chert. Next is a knapped flesher blade of slender form and a thick-butted cutting tool, both found in Uvalde, Texas. An Eastern Woodland Period scraper has a thick butt and red pigment along one side of the blade edge, and the Hohokam smoothing stone features pleasantly tactile surfaces and a slightly concave underside. Size of largest: 6.9" L x 3.3" W x 1" H (17.5 cm x 8.4 cm x 2.5 cm)

Condition
Each with minor nicks and abrasions, with chips along blade edges of knapped pieces, otherwise intact and very good. Nice surface smoothness across most pieces.
