Item Details
Description
Pre-Columbian Mayan Anthropomorphic Pottery Vessel. Solid pot with excellent patination. Appears to depict a monkey with hands over its snout but could be a representation of a diety. Two elevated sections below the figure suggest there was once a handle below the figure. An interesting display piece. Measures 4 7/8" tall by 3 7/8" diameter approximately. Ex Tom Moxley Collection.
