SST. Maker Marked "Chas W. Shonk." This C. 1910 large and impressive lithographed tin sign from Smith's Kidney Pills features a nice graphic of a young boy in work clothes. A fantastic piece of Black-Americana. CONDITION: The field shows a few light scuff marks, but nothing offensive. There is one mentionable paint chip seen in the letter "S" of "Smith's." There are a few specks of discoloration and color loss in the boy's hand and face. The outer field shows some light wear and additional scrapes- the worst of which is seen at the very top in the blue sky. The outer edges are concealed by the custom wood frame.
