Description
C. 1895. Symphonion Musikwerke of Leipzig, Germany. A very rare musical hall clock with 14" discs used in sets of 3, across 6 individual combs. Regular Symphonion movement deploying 3 discs built into a Lenzkirch hall clock. These clocks were available in walnut or oak, this being the lesser seen oak model. CONDITION: Showing light wear to the restored finish, as well as light surface scratches. The dome top is a replica done perfectly. OPERATION: The clock has the pendulum and is connected to the release to play the discs on the hour and half hour. It is untested as to whether this is working at the time of this description. Comes with keys, 10 sets of discs and crank. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 25" x 16" x 108"
