Early Model 423, German silver and hard rubber, 3 5/8" diam, 1 1/2" spool, right hand wind, double stamped 3/.0 on the foot. Marked "Edward Vom Hofe N.Y. Pat. Jan. 23. 83" and having the early pin hole under the handle drag ring marked "Edw Vom Hofe Maker & Patentee Pat'd Sept 2. ‘79. Fulton St N.Y." , working click switch and adjustable drag, red indicator dots. Uncleaned VG+ with light wear, a few tiny nicks/scratches, one foot end scraped, could use cleaning.
