1952 Mid Century Modern Water Color Painitng by Jack Amoroso "In the House". The artist in his Nineties resides in Coconut Grove, Fl. Amoroso's diverse and prolific career as an artist began when he was the youngest student ever to be accepted in a Massachusetts accredited art school (he was fifteen years old). At age twenty- seven he was nominated as "Outstanding New Talent in the U.S.A." by Art in America magazine. In 1964 Amoroso's work was designated "Best Overall" at the New York World's Fair. This piece depicts the interior of a Mid Century Modern home in the 50's. It is colorful and in very good condition, there are some age and usage surface scratches to the frame. It measures framed H 19" x W 25" and weighs 6 lbs. Please refer to all photos. Overall in good condition.
