Provenance: Carpenters Workshop Gallery, London | Richard Hallberg Interior Design, Inc., Los Angeles | Private Collection. Lot includes a copy of the original receipts from Richard Hallberg Interior Design, Inc. dated 5.15.2017 and 11.6.2018 (11.6.2018 receipt annotation: "finishing of Wendell Castle side tables custom white gold finish applied over bronze"). Richard Hallberg Interior Design, Inc. acquired the table from Carpenters Workshop Gallery, London, most likely during the Wendell Castle exhibition of 23 Mar – 6 May 2017, and subsequently placed it on the consignor’s 87 m (285 ft) megayacht. The 5.15.2017 designer invoice features the same exhibition photograph that appears on the Carpenters Workshop website, confirming the source and date of purchase. The last photo presents in situ views of select interiors.
