A late 19th century French figural floor model clock by Samuel Marti et Cie, Paris. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with visible escapement and two-part porcelain dial with Roman numerals, marked by the retailer "Shreve, Crump & Low, Boston". Cast Spelter base after "A. Carrier" with Classical draped female figure holding a sphere with foliate swags standing on a molded hexagonal base. Some surface wear and corrosion, dial hairlines, lacks pendulum, not tested. 61" high. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000
