This remarkable displays an extraordinary symphony of iridescent colors that transform as light plays across its surface - from deep copper-reds to peacock blues, violet-pinks, and golden-greens. The stylized iris design flows organically around the vase, rendered in luminous metallic glazes that float above the rich amber-red background. This sophisticated glazing technique, which Sicard developed while working with Clement Massier in France before joining Weller, was achieved through precise firings with rare earth metals and metallic oxides applied in specific layers.
