Description

Pair of Chinese Export Rose Medallion baluster form lidded porcelain vases or urns, each having polychrome enamel decoration throughout, including vignettes with figural court and courtyard scenes against a foliate and precious objects background. The domed lids with gilt figural foo or temple dog finials, and the sides with gilt foo dog masks with rings. 15 3/4 in. H. 19th century.

Condition
One lid and the finial with repaired breaks and inside rim lip with scattered fleabites. One lower vase body with two large glued breaks around the rim area. The remaining vase and lid are in overall very good condition.
