Babe Ruth Signed Louisville Slugger Bat

Rare Babe Ruth Signed Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat, Circa 1934 | Ruth hand-signed / autographed the bat with a fountain pen under the "Official Thin-Grip" label on the bat's barrel near the end. The sweet spot is a key area on the barrel where hitting the ball will result in the best performance  | The Bat's Primary Oval Label is faded, but can clearly discern the following: "HILLERICH & BRADSBY Co." with the catalog number 125Y directly above it. "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER" is at the very top of the oval. "MADE IN U.S.A." is directly below "HILLERICH & BRADSBY Co." with "LOUISVILLE KY. at the very bottom. Additionally, the Center Brand is followed outside and below with: "TRADE MARK REG" - dating the bat's manufacture to c. 1934. The bat is also unique given the vertical "Heartwood" inscription to the left of the oval. The middle of the bat seems to have a yellow painted cartouche that once said "Powerized" | Finally, their is a label on the barrel of the bat near the end (or tip/cap) stating: "Official Thin-Grip Softball Model 12".  Provenance: The bat was purchased from the State of Arkansas at a fundraising auction in Van Buren, Arkansas in 2004, and then passed by descent to the current owner.  Included is a signed affidavit from a member of the baseball hall of fame attesting to its authenticity and disposition.
