Vintage Mahjong set housed in a brown faux alligator case with brass latches and a leather handle. The set includes five red marbled Bakelite racks with brass coin holders and metal pins, along with a full set of yellowed cellulose tiles engraved with circles, characters, and letters in black, green and red. The tiles features both traditional symbols and Western directional and letter marking for American style gameplay. The upper compartment of the case is lined and shows some sign of wear, including a tear to the inner lid. Overall wear consistent with age and use. See photos for additional details. Bidders whose items are deemed too large, heavy, fragile, or require specialized care will be initially sent a complimentary UPS quote for their items.
