Description

This really great antique bike is from the 1997 movie Rough Riders starring Tom Berenger as Theodore Roosevelt, set in 1898. The bike was manufactured by The Kirk Mfg Co in the Yale model, an example was found in an 1898 catalog. Bike has the original badge, prior to the 1903 Consolidated merger. The bike is military green with US Signal Corps stenciled on the top tube. The bike seat is from The Wright Saddle Co Ltd in Birmingham England. It was won at auction in 2001 when Ellis Props & Graphics closed their doors and Remarketting Associates arranged the auction. 38" tall x 67" long. Single owner collection from the largest toy collector on the West Coast.

Condition

Visually in great condition, the seat does not appear original, tires possibly replaced, leather with light cracking, breaks in leather at seat rear. Stenciling and other modifications likely made for film use. Please examine photos carefully as they are part of the condition report.
